By registering or using Mobany, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Account Information

• Full name, email address, phone number, and password when you sign up
• Account type — Professional (job seeker) or Business Owner (employer)
• Job category selections during onboarding

Profile Information (Professionals)

• Profile photo and portfolio images (up to 5 images)
• Portfolio videos (up to 3 videos)
• CV/resume document upload
• Complete address and contact details
• Availability status (on/off toggle)
• Skills, experience, and professional description

Usage & Technical Data

• Device type, operating system, and app version
• Log data including IP address, access times, and pages viewed
• Search queries and filter preferences within the app
• In-app messaging content between users and professionals

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To create and manage your account and profile
• To display professional profiles in search results to business users
• To enable location-based discovery of nearby professionals
• To facilitate in-app messaging between businesses and professionals
• To send push notifications about new messages, job opportunities, and platform updates

Location services are a core feature of Mobany. Professionals must enable location services to appear in search results with a distance parameter. This allows businesses to find talent near them.

• We collect GPS location data when location services are enabled on your device
• Location is used to calculate and display distance between professionals and searching businesses
• Professionals who disable the availability toggle will not appear in location-based searches
• You can disable location access through your device settings at any time, though this will limit core app functionality
• We do not share precise real-time location data with third parties for advertising purposes

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data only in the following circumstances:

Within the Platform

• Professional profiles (name, photo, role, location distance, portfolio) are visible to registered business users when availability is turned on
• Messages sent between users are stored and visible to both parties of the conversation

Third-Party Service Providers

• Cloud hosting and storage providers to operate our infrastructure
• Payment processors to handle subscription transactions
• Push notification services to deliver alerts to your device
• Analytics providers to help us understand app usage (anonymised data only)
